Militant Islam on the move in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Libya, Somalia, South Asia - All in one week

Over the past several weeks we have witnessed the growing strength and momentum of ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

Not too far away, the commander of the militant Islamic group in Afghanistan, Hezb-e-Islami,told the BBC his group "may join the Islamic State."

While ISIS grew and dominated the headlines, another militant Islamic group, Boko Haram, pushed forward in Nigeria, doing all of the things ISIS has done.

Two days ago, another militant Islamic group, the Dawn of Libya, captured a residential compound of the U.S. embassy in Tripoli. Meanwhile, Libya's Grand Mufti is recruiting in the U.K.

Earlier today, the military of the United States of America targeted another militant Islamic group, that of al-Shabab in Somalia.

Last week in Orlando, Florida a Muslim man threatened to "kidnap an American and behead him" after a fight in a bar. Just a few days later, three churches in Columbus, Indiana were vandalized by Jihadist graffiti.

Just consider the various locations: Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Libya, and Somalia, all in one week's time. Could it be that militant Islam is on the rise throughout the world? If it is, what will the world's response be?

UPDATE 1:

As if all of the above was not enough to consider, reports are now emerging that at least 11 commercial airlines are missing after the Dawn of Libya capture the Tripoli International Airport in August.

UPDATE 2:

Aymin al-Zawahiri has announced the creation of Al-Qaeda "in the Indian Subcontinent." Clearly militant Islam continues to spread.
