Persecution Watch: Nebraska

As one school in Nebraska has forbidden a 12-year old girl from wearing a necklace resembling a rosary the American Civil Liberties Union is coming to her defence.

That's right, the ACLU is finally taking a stand in defense of religious liberty.  Perhaps there is hope that this will continue and will stop standing against Christians.

The school has told the girl she cannot wear the rosary-like necklace because some gangs have adopted the rosary as a symbol of their gangs.

The girl, Elizabeth Carey, said, "I'm deciding to stand up for Jesus and do whatever I can to stop this."  She has both courage and conviction.  Would that more adults had the same.
