Over in Hawaii, seeing guys going about town in swim trunks and t-shirts is, at it were, par for the course. Nothing seems odd about it; rather, it seems a good bit of common sense as the ocean is never too far away and stopping by is always a good idea.
For one reason or another, today I have seen several guys going about Springfield in swim trunks and t-shirts. I'm ashamed to say that it seemed today odd and out of place.
I've been back on the mainland too long.
