I always am very happy when I wake up in the morning full of excitement because of the homily the Lord is leading me to preach. Today, I had planned to preach on one particular verse of the Passion narrative, asking the question, "What did Peter see?"
Only a few minutes ago I discovered that that one particular verse is found in Matthew's Gospel and not in John's?
I'm off now to work on an entirely different homily.
