Jubilee Day

I have a full schedule today, and none of it happens in Effingham.

At 11:00 a.m. the Priests Personnel Board will meet, though not in the usual War Room. Instead, we will meet in Chatham, just outside of Springfield, but still a two-hour drive.

At 3:00 p.m. the celebrations for Jubilee Day will begin when the Presbyterate honors those priests who mark significant anniversaries in their priestly life. This year we will honor four Diocesan priests who celebrate their Golden Jubilee and one religious (a Franciscan). We will also honor two Silver Jubilarians. The celebrations will conclude with dinner, after which I will return to Effingham.

I seem to have developed another cold; your prayers for a swift recovery will be most appreciated.
